Theresa Logan is a registered dietitian, board-certified specialist in sports dietetics, and wellness coach. Theresa promotes a whole foods whole wellness approach for performance and life. She received her Master’s degree from Virginia Tech, undergraduate degree from Misericordia University, and completed a Dietetic Internship at the James A Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, FL.

Prior to moving to the DC area,  Theresa was the lead sports dietitian at the University of South Carolina (SEC), George Mason (A10) , and Davidson College (A10).   She also provided nutrition consulting to the Carolina Panthers and the Gatorade Sports Science Institute where she was assigned to support an NBA G-League team.  In developing nutrition programs, Ms. Logan works closely with sports medicine teams, collegiate and professional athletes to incorporate healthy eating guidelines into their diet. She is experienced in body composition assessment for performance and health, food allergies, GI disorders, endocrine disorders,  and meal planning to help individuals better manage their lives.

In addition to APMI,   Ms. Logan also runs a private practice focusing on a customized approach for individuals, athletes, and teams on performance nutrition, and wellness.  Ms. Logan conducts individual and group counseling sessions to athletes from high school to professional levels present at professional conferences and writes for various nutrition and wellness publications.

Theresa promotes the importance of exercise, nutrition, and health by staying active as a USTA tennis player, golfer, hiker, and kayaker. She supports sustainable farming, and farmers markets in the area. You might see her at a local farmers market picking up produce for recipes that take less than thirty minutes to prepare.
