Born by the beaches of Casablanca, Laurent grew up with the Mediterranean lifestyle infused with a time-immaterial mentality: the best things in life take time to nurture —food, wine, friendships. There are no shortcuts, which is perfectly fine because the journey is just as enjoyable as the destination. Every moment counts, every moment is a celebration, so make the most out of the moment you’re you are living in. When that moment is over, make the most out of the next one. This is how Laurent was raised and what he brings to his fitness program!

For the past 15 years, Laurent has been Washington DC’s well sought after fitness expert. He was called to participate in Oprah’s “Live Your Best Life” tour and has been featured in ELLE Magazine along with numerous television and radio programs.

As the architect behind NRGY!15TMhe created this high intensity workout based on 15 signature moves choreographed to energetic music. He uses his warm Mediterranean personality to motivate participants, making them laugh and love their way to happier and healthier ways of living and being. As a fitness entertainer, he is a regular correspondent on NBC, FOX, CBS, and the CW Network, and has participated in events hosted by the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, which named him one of the country’s top 50 trainers. Washingtonian Magazine also named him as one of DC’s top trainers throughout the local region.

Community and family are essential to Laurent, which is why YALA! makes it a point to support as many great causes as possible. Every year, Laurent leads the warmups for national campaigns such as Avon Breast Cancer, MS Society, Best Buddies and Children’s Hospital.
